We offer a free in home consultation so you can get an itemized quote. Once the items are logged and quote accepted, these quotes do not change unless the items change. Hourly moves are quoted as just that- hourly. During hourly moves the customer holds all the power. We start when you say start and stop when you say stop.
Once you receive your quote and have accepted then get scheduled. Book your move. The summer months are the busiest for moving companies so book ahead of time. Don't wait until the last minute or you may not find a company that has an opening.
Now, you have a quote on moving, here comes the worse part- packing. JoMo Moving does also offer packing services so this does not need to be a task for you. If you would like to have strapping men pack for you, just let us know and we can give you a quote that includes packing. During this process, if packing yourself, make sure you comb through your home with a fine tooth comb. Look in those closets, under beds and any other hiding spot where items can hide. Nothing is worse then forgetting to pack items or losing items. You never know how much stuff you have until this step. Remember, when packing boxes make sure they are labeled. The labels will allow the movers to know where each box needs to be placed in the new home.
You now have your quote, you have booked your move and you are packed..... What now? Relax, relax, relax. Sit back and let JoMo move you safely and effortlessly to your new home. JoMo Movers will arrive on your move date bright eyed and ready to work. The lead mover will introduce himself and confirm the move details. Now, it's time to sit back and relax. The movers will carefully yet swiftly get your items into the truck and stack everything, like Tetris, to make sure it is packed high and tight. High and tight stacking will not allow your items and boxes to shift and arrive undamaged. Your larger items and furniture will be padded with moving blankets and/or wrapped for protection. Once they have completed moving you out they will head to your new home. Once they arrive to your new home they will pad doorways, place runners down the hallways and stairs to ensure your new home stays like new. Just as swiftly as they moved your items out, they will move your items into your new home.
Once everything is moved into your home and the truck is empty; you are on the home stretch. The lead mover will go over the bill/collect payment and make sure you are satisfied before they leave. Now, comes the fun part- setting up your new home.
